I've been playing around with this feature, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere trophy-wise 
Sometimes it will deploy 2 small groups near the TH, other times it will just do the normal spread around the base. So you win maybe 5 battles & get 1 star each(2 if you're lucky), then lose 1-2 battles, and you're back to where you started.
Is it because there are buildings where it tries to spawn the TH troops? I haven't messed with the placement of the troops yet, but I think they currently are placed near the TH (not necessarily on edge of map)

Under Search settings, only "Meet Townhall outside" is checked.
