Loot I got with v5.4.2.2 in less than 24 hours. I did spend the gold and elixir along the way, but you can see the dark elixir gradually rise.

My settings are:
Max Trophy = 1700
Meet Gold and Elixir
Minimum Gold = 200000
Minimum Elixir = 200000
Dead Bases
Attack on all sides equally
Barbarians + Archers

*Note that have at least 500000 gold because it may take a while to find a good base
