FernFlower is a decompiler that was recently revived by being updated and open sourced by JetBrains.

Bytecode Viewer has this built in as one of the decompilers.

How to use

Install a Java runtime compatible with the downloaded build. Create an output directory, then pass the input followed by that directory:

mkdir output
java -jar fernflower-262.10968.63.jar application.jar output

The input can be a class, JAR, ZIP or directory. For an archive input, inspect the generated archive in output for the reconstructed sources. An optional -e=dependency.jar supplies library classes for analysis without decompiling them.
