I solved "unterminated string" compiling problem in v5.5.1.1
There is not problem if your system language is English. Change your system language then try again.

You can active because when you use chinese version, it uses other server to active, now I'm not at home. I'm using teamviewer to remove my computer by my phone, so I can't give you more details. If you get in stuck, change all language to chinese

Did your version use chinesse instead english? The bot must be in chinese. Change system language.

I've tried the bot on other computer and it works. Not server issue. I think they added some thing with new version.
