am i doing it right?

Yep, spot on. Have you managed to hook up the Cheat Engine client to the server?

@Greyman how do you get the Ip address from your emu like andy i lfconfig eth0 and it ends up spitting out 10.0.2.15 which is normal but then in windows where does it route to ? i been trying all night can't manage to figure it out... 😕

Same here! Help would be nice, I hope I can use that for this!

@Meskalin i've managed to get it working.

Here's what i did,

Use Windows CMD

cd to : C:\Program Files\Andy
run adb shell
run adb forward tcp:52736 tcp:52736
run ceserver
now it should be picked up by cheat engine

Also if you don't have andy, get andy and here is a rooting guide: http://www.openeducationusa.com/?p=8346 ( it's quite simple )

good luck 🙂

Sorry 5pArxz, I didn't see your earlier post in the thread. I can't speak for BlueStacks, but Andy always exposes itself as a network interface bound to 192.168.56.100 on the host OS. That's how I communicate with CEServer running on the emulated Android instance.

The port forwarding approach works too, and is a perfectly valid option.

@Greyman, Thanks 🙂 yeah i've decided to switch to Andy on this. but i was retarted and didn't run ceserver outside the emulator, once i did it with cmd it all just came together. 🙂 good work by you Sir!.

@Greyman could you give some direction as to dumping bases ? 🙂

Got something to add?
